The HCEC Club Meets will be offered once a month at a local equine facility. Please take a look at our calendar for specific dates. All Club Meets are Free to members!
The purpose of Club Meets is to be able to go to a farm and enjoy equine therapy. Usually for the first semester, we would be spending time learning basic stable management and Equine safety. Second Semester would consist of more stable management, including tacking up a horse properly, free lunging and lunging with a line, games and patterns!
Club Meets will be taught by certified Horse Industry Technician, Becka Henderson. Our Club Meets will cover all basic horse handling, grooming, and equine activities and games!
We will be following Equestrian Canada books for rider levels and stable management as this is the standard across Canada and will help our members, regardless of the direction they go.
For more information on EC Rider Levels, please see the rubrics under EC Rider Levels.
